With my latest venture, “MAPAMUNDI – Foodstories,” I aim to showcase Berlin’s diverse culinary scene.

This project combines a Food Guide with personal narratives from chefs, exploring their cultural backgrounds, signature dishes, and unique perspectives on “their Berlin.” 

Berlin’s culinary landscape reflects the diversity of its residents, with no single typical dish. Instead, it is a vibrant tapestry woven from myriad cultural influences. From Turkish Döner kebabs to traditional German schnitzels, from hearty Indian gravies to delicate French pastries, Berlin offers a feast for the senses that is as rich and varied as the city itself.

Through “MAPAMUNDI – Foodstories,” I hope to not only tantalize taste buds but also to celebrate the stories behind the dishes. Each bite is a journey, a connection to the history, memories, and traditions of the chefs who pour their hearts and souls into their creations.
