It’s early in the morning and I’m on my way to the lake.
It looks like it’s going to be a nice sunny day.
As an entrepreneur, I make sure that my energies are in balance: mental, spiritual and also business.
And today it was time again to feel in tune with the Pachamama*.
Connected to the four elements: fire, water, wind, earth!
I prepare the ritual!
When I’m done, I sit and look at the lake. Suddenly a young woman squats down next to me…she asks me if that is Saint Mary and I explain to her that that is Saint Guadalupe…and tell her the story from back then in Mexico…where I felt so connected to mother earth that I walked barefoot in the rainforest in Chiapas, Mexico.
Sometimes it is hard to stay in balance and find your inner peace. But always when I remember my time in Mexico, I can feel that energy and integrate it in my daily life here in Germany.
Maria stays with me for a while and tells me her story.
She wears a cross on her chain.
She tells me that she is actually not that religious, but her parents and their faith helped her through one of the hardest times in her life, 3 years ago. After nearly dying of pneumonia, she healed herself and faith held her steady.
We sit together for a while and listen to the sounds of nature, feel the sun on our face, meditate and absorb the meditation music.
Silence attracts life! Everything is connected.
And so not only Maria came to me, but also butterflies, dragonflies, bees, swans, and much more.
After a while she gets up and leaves. I thanked her for sharing her story with me.
I have always been fascinated by seeing the world from different angles and perspectives.
I feel like an ethnologist doing field research.
I sit and watch until the stories come to me.
